Strategic Content Jumpstart

To build a strategic plan and create an ecosystem of organic content that pulls traffic to your offers, you need time and consistent content creation. It’s a layered process.

But you need something going ASAP, not three months from now. I get that, which is why I created this jumpstart offer. It’s not a full strategic plan – far from it. Instead, it focuses on one strategic idea and includes a smaller version of the five processes we normally go through to develop a content strategy. 

This is how to get something up on your site that can work in the background while your strategy and content plan are in development.

What else this offer does for you

  • It’s an easy way to find out what it’s like to work with me before committing to a larger project.
  • If you’ve never done content marketing before, show yourself or other stakeholders how it could work in your business. Granted, this is only one piece but it can still provide some information.
  • Get a baseline for how long content creation takes and the resources it consumes, so you know how it will fit into your marketing budget.
  • Upon completion, get a $500 credit toward Digital Strategy or Content Planning (to be used within one year).

The process

We focus on one of your offers, define one audience profile, do some research to see what kind of content ranks for the topic, then develop one idea that will give you a high quality piece of content, plus related social media posts, email content, and outreach suggestions.

What you get

  • A report with the results of the research and a list of ideas from our brainstorming session
  • A 1500-2000 word blog post or article that you can post on your blog or other platform, or even pitch to a relevant site as a guest post
  • Meta description and excerpt
  • Any combination of 10 social media posts, emails or newsletter segments pulled from the primary piece (for example: 5 social posts, 3 emails, and 2 newsletter segments)
  • Five suggestions for link outreach and a sample email

What else you can do with the content

  • Link to it from other relevant content on your site
  • Split test the headline to see what works best
  • Test it as a landing page for ad traffic. The ultimate goal is organic traffic but you can give it a little nudge by boosting a Facebook post or running some Google ads.
