Do I have to be located in your area to work with you?
No. I work with clients from all over using email, telephone, skpe, and other collaboration tools.
Do you come to us?
It depends. I live in Lakeshore, Ontario in Essex County near the city of Windsor. If you’re located in Southwestern Ontario, if the situation warrants it we can make arrangements for me to visit your place of business. It’s usually not necessary though, as I can handle everything from my home office. By operating virtually using email, telephone, and skype, it keeps costs down. If I had to travel frequently I would have to charge more.
How much will it cost?
Every project is different, so it’s hard to give a one-size-fits-all price. I look at each project individually and price by the job, not by the hour. You should plan to spend at least $500 during the planning stages and if you’re hiring me for ongoing content services such as a newsletter or blog, fees start at $200 per month for the smallest projects and increase from there depending on how much work is required.
Do you build websites?
Sometimes, but only under certain circumstances. If you want a WordPress self-hosted site, and you’re willing to use a particular premium theme, then I will do the site as part of the process. I won’t build a site unless you are hiring me for content planning as well. Contact me for more information.
Is there somewhere I can see samples of your work?
Some of my clients don’t mind if I use their content for samples, but many of them prefer that I don’t display them publicly, so although you are welcome to see samples of my work, you must contact me first. Simply tell me a bit about your project so I can send you samples that are appropriate for your needs.
