Content Planning

Build out your calendar with specific, purposeful content that’s tied to your products or services.

Planned content is better for business

Does your content make sense in relation to what you sell? Does it lead toward a goal?

There’s a lot of disconnected content out there, floating around saying hello but not making itself useful. It doesn’t help potential customers and it doesn’t take them anywhere. Effectively, it’s a dead end instead of a gateway.

Instead, help your audience connect the dots.

Each piece of content fits somewhere along the pathway toward an eventual conversion and should lead to the next step – another piece of content, an email subscription, a phone call, or something else.

It all depends on your strategy.

Included in Content Planning

Part one is an umbrella strategy that clarifies audience, messaging, offers, and platforms. Then we identify main topics and generate ideas for the kind of content to support related goals at each stage of the customer journey.

Part two is the content planning phase, where we decide what goes on the content calendar:

  • Figure out which topics to prioritize and theme by month, brainstorm ideas, then plan content around those priorities.
  • Incorporate SEO. Topic and keyword research to find the questions, words, and phrases customers use when they look for a solution like yours.
  • Keep in mind your unique narrative to better differentiate your content from others in your space.
  • For each idea, use a hierarchical content model to decide which formats will be included, so you can create multiple content items efficiently.
  • Plan out content production using the tools that are best suited for your workflow.

Services are provided on a quarterly basis with a one-year commitment. The first engagement consists of digital content strategy and a one-month content plan, with subsequent three-month planning sessions. Starts at $1500 per quarter.
